I just cuddle up to these newsletters, and read and re-read them. I read a very interesting article about Frozen 2, and Disney's collaboration with the Samí people. The article was very excited that Disney was finally Getting it Right after erasure and appropriation of the first Frozen, and it looks like, from what you say, they're on the path--especially in the music and the animation. But not necessarily the world-building. Le sigh! And yet! And yet--I want to see this very badly! Is the music and lyric team the same husband/wife writer team from the first, I wonder (I know, I know, I can just google. I SHALL see this. I SHALL! Have you heard the new songs they added to the Frozen Broadway musical? I love it so: more of everything, more character, more plot, more thought.
How do you always write such true things!!!! That trailer is 1000000% my Ph.D. experience as well. And yes, that transformation is definitely how I felt on graduation day. True story: I blasted Ke$ha NON STOP both before and after the ceremony and felt like I was flying. I can't wait for you to get there <3
